We bake small batches every morning at 1100 W Main St, right here in the heart of Sterling. Sourdough, pastries, and a carefully curated selection of local groceries — made with intention and served with a smile.
At Orange Leaf, we believe the best bread takes time. Our sourdough ferments for 24 hours. Our pastries are folded by hand each morning. We source our flour, dairy, and produce from neighbors in Northeast Colorado — because food tastes better when it comes from people you can shake hands with.
We're not a chain. We're not rushing to meet a quota. We're a small team in Sterling who show up early, measure carefully, and care about every loaf that comes out of our oven. If you've never tried our rosemary focaccia, you're in for a treat.
Signature
24-hour fermented, stone-ground flour, crispy crust, tangy crumb. Our starter has been feeding us since day one.
Fan Favorite
Olive oil–soaked, topped with local rosemary and Maldon salt. Best eaten warm, right out of the pan.
Croissants, pain au chocolat, danishes — all folded by hand. Made from scratch every morning before sunrise.
Rotating with what's ripe and local. Think peach galette in August, apple crumble in October, citrus tart in winter.
Locally roasted coffee, poured to order. Ask us about our favorite bread-and-coffee combinations.
New
Hand-picked staples from Northeast Colorado producers — honey, olive oil, grains, preserves, and more.
We drove 30 minutes just to try Orange Leaf after hearing about it. The sourdough alone is worth the trip — we come back every weekend now.
The focaccia is unreal. Flaky, herby, perfectly salted. And the people here? They remember your name. That's the kind of place this is.
Finally, a bakery in town that takes bread seriously. You can taste the care in every bite. The local grocery section is a lovely bonus too.
Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee and croissant or building a picnic basket from our local picks, we'd love to see you. Walk-ins are always welcome.
